Privacy Screening for Temporary Fencing

Plan visual separation as part of the fence system. Identify the areas to screen and the site conditions so screening, support and installation requirements can be reviewed together.

Equipment, delivery and setup availability are confirmed for your location and dates.

01 / SELECT THE CONFIGURATION

Fit the equipment to the requirement.

01

Screen selected runs

Mark the sections that need screening instead of applying it automatically to the whole perimeter. Identify entrances, vehicle gates and any areas where visibility must be retained for the project’s operations.

02

Compatibility and attachment

Provide details of the fence system if it is already installed. Screening and its attachment method must be compatible with that system and the site requirements. Do not assume any fabric can be fitted to any temporary panel.

03

Exposure and support requirements

Include whether the screened fence is exposed or sheltered and whether fixing methods are restricted. The system’s installation requirements need review with the screening included. No wind rating, privacy percentage or acoustic performance is assumed.

02 / PLAN THE QUANTITY

Measure the screened area separately.

Record the lengths and intended height of the screened runs, plus gate and opening details. Keep the screening quantity separate from the fence-panel count. A section-count estimate does not establish fabric dimensions or attachment requirements.

CALCULATE BARRIERS

Use the actual equipment’s usable length. Keep assumptions and requested spare quantities explicit.

03 / DELIVERY & RENTAL PERIOD

Coordinate fence and screening installation

State whether fencing is part of the same rental or already on site. Include access along both sides where relevant and the required installation window. Confirm removal responsibility and the condition in which the fence must be left.

Align screening with the site programme

Give the period during which visual separation is required, which may differ from the fence rental. Flag changes in exposure, phased works or sections that will need removing earlier.

BEFORE YOU REQUEST A QUOTE

Equipment questions.

Can screening be added to my existing fence?

Provide the fence model, layout and site conditions for a compatibility review. Supply and installation are subject to the confirmed equipment and scope.

Does privacy screening reduce noise?

No acoustic performance is claimed. If noise control is a project requirement, identify the exact specification rather than assuming ordinary screening provides it.

Is the full perimeter screened by default?

No. Identify the specific runs, height requirements and areas that must remain open or visible so the quote reflects the intended scope.
