THE APPLICATION / BARRIERRENTALS.CA

Barrier Rentals for Film Productions

Build the equipment request around the location schedule. Identify production boundaries, crew access and any visual separation required, with the timing of each location move clearly marked.

Equipment, delivery and setup availability are confirmed for your location and dates.

01 / PLAN THE APPLICATION

Make the equipment brief specific.

01

Boundaries at the location

Mark the areas to separate and the entrances that must remain usable. Explain whether the requirement is a temporary crowd boundary, a more defined fence perimeter or a screened run.

02

Equipment in and around the frame

Tell us if equipment appearance or placement is relevant to the shoot. Include any restrictions on fixing or placing supports at the location. Specific equipment requests depend on availability and the proposed model.

03

Screening and access together

Identify the sections where visual separation is needed and any gates that interrupt them. Screening must be reviewed with the fence system, exposure and attachment requirements. No acoustic performance is assumed.

02 / PLAN THE QUANTITY

Keep location counts separate.

Measure runs by location and equipment type, then note any reuse expected between dates. Do not assume one set can serve overlapping calls. Supply the current location plan for unusual corners or restricted spaces.

CALCULATE BARRIERS

Use the actual equipment’s usable length. Keep assumptions and requested spare quantities explicit.

03 / DELIVERY & RENTAL PERIOD

Work to the location’s access rules

Include loading access, handling distances, restricted delivery times and the location contact. Identify setup, relocation and strike requirements. Each service and schedule needs confirmation in the quote.

Include hold days and strike

State the days equipment is required at the location, including non-shooting days when it must remain in place. If the schedule may change, flag that uncertainty so extensions and relocation needs can be discussed.

Project questions.

Can the same equipment move between filming locations?

List the proposed dates and locations for review. Travel, handling, overlap and equipment availability determine whether the schedule is feasible.

Can privacy screening be specified for a location?

Yes. Include the intended visual separation, fence details and exposure. Screening specifications and installation requirements are confirmed for the project.
