Steel Barrier & Barricade Rental

Focus the equipment specification before finalising the layout. For steel barricade rentals, the connection, base arrangement and usable section length all belong in the same project conversation.

Equipment, delivery and setup availability are confirmed for your location and dates.

01 / SELECT THE CONFIGURATION

Fit the equipment to the requirement.

01

Interlocking configuration

State whether the request is for one continuous run, separate lines or a layout with repeated corners. If you are adding to equipment already on site, provide its model or clear connection photos. Compatibility should be checked rather than assumed from a similar appearance.

02

Footing and base options

Foot shape and orientation affect the space occupied beside the rail. Include the route width, surface and any threshold or kerb changes. Ask which base configuration is available for the selected model before committing to the layout.

03

Dimensions belong to the selected model

Panel length, height and weight should come from the actual equipment record. If your tender requires exact dimensions or manufacturer documentation, include that requirement in the inquiry. Do not use a nominal planning length as a purchase or rental specification.

02 / PLAN THE QUANTITY

Use connected coverage, not a guessed panel length.

For a straight run, divide the measured distance by the verified usable length of a connected section. Round up to whole sections. List isolated sections, gates and spare quantities separately so the equipment request remains clear.

CALCULATE BARRIERS

Use the actual equipment’s usable length. Keep assumptions and requested spare quantities explicit.

03 / DELIVERY & RENTAL PERIOD

Account for unloading and placement

Provide the unloading surface, vehicle access and the distance equipment must travel on site. Note stairs, lifts or narrow passages. Installation, relocation and collection requirements should be included when the quote is prepared.

Match the rental to the work window

Include time for placement and removal as well as the public event or work period. For longer rentals, describe any planned layout changes or extra sections that may be needed later. Extensions require confirmation.

BEFORE YOU REQUEST A QUOTE

Equipment questions.

Will rented sections connect to barriers I already have?

Send the manufacturer/model or connection photographs for review. Similar-looking barriers may have different connections; compatibility needs to be established for the specific equipment.

Can I choose the feet?

Include the base preference and the reason for it, such as pedestrian clearance or a venue requirement. Available configurations are confirmed for the selected equipment and dates.

Does steel construction imply a particular rating?

No performance or certification should be inferred from the material alone. Provide the exact documentation requirement so it can be checked against the proposed model.
